Not quite accurate, it was 11-2 at ES and 11-3 with special teams.

The first goal was pretty much entirely on McCann and the 2nd was pretty much entirely on Beniers though if I'm remembering correctly.
JFC man give it a rest. We get it, "11 guys suck shit for 60 minutes but Kaapo Kakko walks on water and did no wrong". You've been here 3 days and it's exhausting already.

Impressive graph for the entire team. Why pick on Kakko?

Care to give your thoughts on what is going on with this team?

Did you actually read the GDT? I picked on the entire team for 5 whole pages. Nobody deserves a pass. Not even Kakko.

This point on speed is very valid. I think in year one and two, we had a lot of players who could keep up with the speed, but many of those players have left and many of those remaining have aged themselves to a slower game, but nothing has changed with the speed they are trying to play at and frankly it isn’t working.

Then Cups gets the puck and slows the speed down to a crawl and nobody is ready for it because their brains are trying to keep up with the play up to that point.

Even guys who feel like they are hopped up on uppers like Tanev and Gourde have slowed and it’s obvious. Where 2 years ago they would have been right on the puck, now they are reaching to get it and often failing, and the young teams they play against are quick enough to read it. It’s ugly and I think largely why the Kraken are struggling against bad but young teams.

Thank you. Appreciate the reply.

Yes the team didnt play well. I read the GDT but since I don't really know the team I was curious about the lay of the land in Seattle. I liked the system the team played under Hakstol, even if it may have been too strict, this is something else though. It looks to me that they want to play a 'freer' system under Bylsma but it has backfired. But these are simply my random observations from very limited viewings.

I didn't even say anything about Kakko here lmao. I've never once said any of the things you accuse me of about Kakko, and by your own admittance you haven't even read my own f***ing posts, so maybe you can stop acting like you know everything there is to know about the player. I'm literally criticizing Kakko as well in that post so maybe everything isn't as black and white as you think. Not sure why you're so upset but I guess it's no skin off my back if you want to react like a child throwing a tantrum to me posting. There you go, an actual insult since you seem to want me to insult you so badly that you make them up everywhere you go.

Also I've been following the team since the offseason but haven't felt much like watching or posting about it if I do. But I have watched every game Kakko has been in and a few others this season.

That is a good point. The play freer system, in my mind, requires a lot more speed and/or talent to work.

The other issue is that even when things start good, like the Vegas game, a good coach is making adjustments which Bylsma is struggling to keep up with. We don't have a Crosby or Malkin to overcome being outcoached since our talent level is pretty low.

It seems like Bylsma's system has a higher talent requirement than Hakstol's.
