Why was Quinn in such a rush to get his 4th line on the ice early in the game; defies logic and then Smith got caught and boom 2 - 0. Otherwise, they are hanging with this very good, veteran team.

I know one play does not a player make but I think we're giving up on Chytil too fast, he oozes skill.

I feel like it has been deja-vu for 3 seasons now.

He strings together a couple of awesome games. Then disappears. Then the “he’s super young” talk emerges. Rinse and repeat.

The difference this season is I feel he’s legitimately not being put in a position to succeed. But I wish he built on previous seasons a bit more.

Just being a douche at the postgame. Joking around.

The way he's played since getting to San Jose, he needs to STFU and play better
That contract. Sweet Jesus ...

At the time it seemed slightly expensive, sure, but now it’s just awful. :help:

This fourth line and third pair continues to kill us. If they’re not taking penalties they’re giving up goals.

I don’t love that second one on Shesterkin he got caught in between as vally is describing but he stopped the bleeding. If that’s Georgiev it’s 5-0. He made some big saves brushed it off and now it’s a game.

BIG goal for Chytil you can feel that.

Fox looks awful tonight not sure why

Panarin buries that last year ugh

I have more issue with kakko passing up a look after a great play to get to the middle to go further away from the middle to then shoot wide from the circle than I do him flubbing a one timer attempt off not a great pass in all seriousness

Chytil has decent passing too... His awareness is just not there though

Like Michael Scott says, 'You miss all the passes you can't see'

What happened?

Some beat reporter who obviously never watched Karlsson before San Jose asked him if his three point game was the best offensive game of his career.

Karlsson almost choked on an apple and said “not even close.”

Worst contact in the league but I have no issue with Karlsson’s presser.

He's probably been instructed that if he doesn't know what to do or where to go to pick a spot he can get back in good defensive position at and read the play. Bad for counting stats, good for well rounded play.

Or he's scared, frozen, and ruined because Darth Quinn's penance stare makes him feel the pain of a million billion burning souls.
Definitely option 2 I’m thinking
