LA fans give their own team too much credit at 5 on 5. If they were better than us, they wouldn’t progressively lose by fewer games each playoff series.
They are a legitimate great defensive team but are mediocre at best offensively.

Arvidson looking good

And it’s not close

I know the guys like to play if they can, but Hyman and Arvidson are clear examples that even if its something that can be played through taking some games to get healthy can pay dividends. The Oilers are not playing for the regular season, they need to be healthy when the games count. So there's not a repeat of Kane's playoffs last year, he tried but wasn't the same player or as effective.

Broadcast hyping Arvids shot all period talking about how great it is he's shooting everything. Guy has a 5% shooting this season. Missing the net tons too. Basically everytime this guy decides to shoot from anywhere its negating Oilers Ozone cycle and pressure while playing with the 2nd greatest player in hockey. Not loving this.
Can you say Podkolzin has a terrible shot. He could use the help

When teams let the Kings dictate the play and dominate the neutral zone, they're a pretty good team. Stretch the game and up the pace to 11 and they're toast.
