First goal was own goal no? Second goal was rough. Talented player on a break, but I thought Igor went down way too early. And I think he was screened on the third. No excuses though. Needs to tighten up.

People are going to hate this comment but I am all for Kakko taking chances and figuring out his limits. Been saying it for years. He hasn’t made any mistakes like that in his career. I’m glad he was pushing his puck control and I be that’ll never happen again. Learning moment.

Difference in organizational development. We limit ice time when kids make mistakes. Then they lose more confidence. Play more timid. Others get that chance to learn. Next time they send a letter and rebuild, gotta actually do it.

Rangers have had the puck in the Islander zone most of the period, unfortunately 1 mistake by Kakko and one screen Igor couldn't track the puck through is the difference. It's hard to be mad with the way they are playing. Just frustrating.
