I'm still pissed at the Islanders for blowing it. We would have absolutely beat them and even if we lost to them, they're one of my favourite non-Habs teams so I wouldn't have been too bothered. Their performance in Game 7 was one of the most pathetic I've seen from any hockey team.

The second the islanders lost, the very SECOND , I knew couldn't enjoy the cup final, you just knew

You could tell Habs were already mentally checked out in the last minute there. Don't like that, fight to the end, even when it's hopeless. Especially when it's hopeless.

Last minute?! They never checked in to to begin with. That team is lifeless.
