The Sabres are desperate or maybe they aren't, I don't know since I haven't watched them play. I hope the Bruins play hard and beat them soundly.

No injuries and two points in regulation would be a nice welcome home gift.
Buffalo is a mess right now

Boston and Buffalo had an intense rivalry

I have seen them play. No desperation at all. Looks like to me they want Ruff gone

Poitras type of player would be eaten alive in the 70's, 80's and 90's.... and maybe in the 2000 and in 2011 Bruins era years also. League has never had so much small players and he still getting rock over. He needs to identify who is on the ice, and the risk there is out there.

One thing is sure, the kid has courage.

Classic trap game. Don’t fall for it! Play like the last three they should win easily. If not we will be hearing how the 12 game losing streak was stopped by Boston.

They never recovered from Terry Pegula buying them.
I actually feel bad for the Buffalo fans (and team). The fans who come to the Garden are cool and so are most on HF. They will turn it around...I hope soon....just not against the Bs.

That being said I want a nice win for the Bs today with no injuries.

Hey Steve, I hope the Bruins win today.

Go on Hockey Ref or Hockey DB and pull up rosters from O6 say 19665-66 and 1966-67. As % of players NHL had way more players 5:10 and under than today.

Boston in their top 9F had 6F 5:10 and under. The Cup Champion Habs had 6F 5:10 which included Richard, Cournoyer at 5:07 and Dick Duff at 5:09. Worsley and Hodge were the goalies at 5:07 and 5:06 respectively...lol. These guys were midgets compared to today and if you transported them to today and gave them every advantage today's player has would have half the roster left at seasons end. Yes
Beliveau would still be HOF and Fergy, Harris, Lapierre, JC Tremblay, Harper would do fine but my bet would be #12 and #16 as great as they were in their time wouldn't last the full year in today's game.

How many times have we heard that? Player hasn't scored in a while, but scores on us, teams PK sucks, shuts us out, team on a losing streak, oh perfect the Bruins will fix that! We better win, Toronto only allowed 3 goals with Matt Murray in net so we should get 2 points here!
