Assuming everyone stayed healthy.

Salomonsson is supposed to come back after Christmas, so this may be a chance for him to get some looks down the road, before the trade deadline.

I bet Leafs fans would be killing themselves laughing if the Stars beat out the Jets for 1st place by 1 point.
The media is there to make money. If the Jets were the only Canadian team in the playoffs the media would be talking up the Jets 24/7.

Worst case: Game goes to OT.

Last time the Jets played Trouba he was -3, and getting beat all over the ice. Hard to say he will bring any more enthusiasm than he did in that game, in different colours. Gudas is a bit of a rat. Strome was the guy who injured KC last year, so there may still be some bad blood left over from that game.

Agreed that's why maybe sitting for a couple of games to recharge might help and Chibby deserves to stay in the lineup.

Did Chibrikov end up finishing the last game - like, did he play or sit on the bench? I know he came back, but he only had 9 min ice time.

Was just wondering if he might be out and Ehlers in for him.
