Goodrow can be trusted defensively against other teams’ top six forwards and Kunin can’t.

I think the Sharks remember their loss to the Jets earlier this season and play some good competitive hockey tonight, expecting it to be much closer this time around (although I am slightly worried about Georgiev)

Yeah. Kunin had been playing quite well for what, a month? But then Saturday featured multiple bad penalties by him, so maybe he'd have been in that role but is being punished for those penalties?

Not that plus-minus is an end all be all stat for defensive impact, but Goodrow has had horrible goal differential results that don't scream "trusted defensively".
