Just please play the boringest game possible in the third. Chip pucks out and in, keep 5 guys on the right side of the puck, and try to just get o zone draws.

Who am I kidding though? We’ll be pissing stretch east west passes around with as much reckless abandon as always.

Don’t be too grim, we have the lead. Power plays just act as time where we are slightly less likely to do something stupid that ends up in our net. Not all is lost.

Ottawa look awful at generating any offense. One scoring chance per period so far. lol

Debrusk now saying Skinner makes great saves on point shots right into his pads. Skinner also made a "great save" on a Batherson shot wide. lol

Its hilarious how much Debrusk inflates Skinners. he's had basically nothing to do today.

This is how two goal Skinner even happens. The Oilers completely shutting teams down. Conversely the Oilers have generated at least 10 quality chances.

Sens also undisplined and giving us a lot of PP's as well. Can't really see how this club is hot. Whenever we play the Sens they don't look like much.

Different crowd tonight and a bit more positive. Booch not getting booed tonight is a bonus. Still making bad plays but fans having a bit more restraint tonight.

Strange how a game against SJ was more entertaining than this one. Woof.

I think Knoblauch needs a cattle prod behind the bench for when someone passes up a clear shooting opportunity.

I’m ok with 97 and 29 being more pass-first but I draw the line at Arvidsson passing OUT of the slot. And he’s done it TWICE tonight alone.

Just shoot it guys.
Arvid has a goal and an assist in fairness. Seems like the wrong time to specifically critique him. He's filled in the RNH slot OK. Been some good things and some misplays.

Like I said - even the "no chance" GA Skinner let's in is from a guy who averages 6 goals a year from over 50 ft out because Skinner is deep in his net cheating hoping deke.

Glad to see Arvidsson putting up some points. Had good underlying stats even when was struggling to produce earlier this season and was probably a victim of bad puck luck+nagging injuries. Certainly have more faith in him to turn it around and have a great season than Skinner/Henrique.

Corey Perry really having a game. Not really showing up on scoresheet but consistently making plays, keeping it simple and getting pucks on net. Both teams guilty of overplaying the puck. Mostly the Sens who have just been awful. This is Nucks level of boring so far. Of course Debrusk spends all telecast telling us how good the Sens are. ffs
