I always thought Brassard was a better player than Eller. I think I may have been wrong.

On paper he is. Eller is more suited to his role than Brassard is to his. I would try Rust with him again now that Rust has a pulse, but who knows. Players always say the minutes make a difference. He may need to be in a 2C role to be effective.
