What did lax ever do to you?I don't think they can. Coaches would just keep doing it and the league is not going to have officials call games to the point where it's constant powerplays.
The man-advantage mechanic, which is unique to hockey, makes it very difficult to manage.
That's what bugs me, they are the home team. Shows they know they are not what they were. In a year or two this Ranger team will have their number.Pens are playing the perfect... road game.
Sidney Crosby. That's why.My problem with the Penguins is that any random borderline NHL player goes there and becomes good.
When that player leaves, he becomes the crappy player he was prior to being a Penguin.
They chose to call it on almost every instance after the 2005 lockout & players stopped doing it for 2-3 seasons until the league "forgot" about it. They can absolutely cut it way down if they wanted. They're more concerned with the ads on the boards.I don't think they can. They can't be irrelevant soon enough. That's what bugs me, they are the home team. Shows they know they are not what they were. In a year or two this Ranger team will have their number.
Offense tanked very quickly after 2005-06. The league wasn't happy with 8-10 PP's a game each way. They chose to call it on almost every instance after the 2005 lockout & players stopped doing it for 2-3 seasons until the league "forgot" about it.
