Don't know about the shirtless pictures, but he looks like he downs a 6 pack and smokes a few cigs at the local tavern after every game.

Laine doesn’t strike me as a genius . . . but he can F’ing shoot the puck.
It's a joke if they are going to get riled at that and it's nothing new.
This isn't something that he hasn't repeated on numerous occasions going back to his first interview after being traded.
Why do they think he was on the market in the first place.
Just adds a little bit of spice to an already spicy affair.

Very good things about Montreal. No so good about Columbus…

Sticking to MTL and the positive:

But I’m having the time of my life here (in Montreal)…, so I don’t want to really get into that too much."

“They’re a little too satisfied and too comfortable where they’re at (in Columbus). It wasn’t really a fit for me anymore. But here (in Montreal), it doesn’t matter if we’re winning or losing, we’re always trying our best. That’s what I felt about it (in Columbus).”

Staying on this dressing room thing, Carrier said he noticed a big difference between Habs and Preds:
-huge unmet expectations so mood in the Nashville room is glum
-Montreal players are much closer to each other
-it’s a younger crowd in Montreal, older guys in Nashville
-Dressing room mood much more upbeat and fresh in MTL

Patty knows what to do tonight. Because CBJ will probably use those quotes to motivate themselves.

Unless the Columbus fans are completely clueless about team news, he can expect « boos ».
He was already going to get those, some were really annoyed he never wrote a "thank you CJB" message after the trade, but looking at his quotes today, I think the "divorce" wasn't a friendly one with management (he still has buddies among the players).

Rangers scratch Kreider who had 39 goals last year, 36 the year before, and 52 before that. Marty will play Newhook nonstop in the top 6 even if he never gets another point this season.
Kreider for Newhook!

Newhook is young.. Kreider is old and done like dinner. Rangers are supposed to be a contender. Habs are still rebuilding. No comparison.

CBJ board is really triggered by Laine’s comments today in the Athletic.

I would never admit to going to the CBJ board. Thats like the Yankees caring what an expos fan thinks. And then reporting back to yankee fans. "Guys, you should see what the expos board is saying about us. Youppi is losing it over Aaron Judge not knowing where Montreal is".
