TONIGHT’S GAME- The Bruins travel to Edmonton tonight in the first of two games between these teams this season and Boston’s lone game at Rogers Place this season ... The Bruins are 17-13-3 overall this season with an 8-7-1 record on the road.- The Bruins conclude their five-game road trip in Edmonton tonight (2-2-0) ... They will next return home to host Buffalo on Dec. 21 and Washington on Dec. 23.

MILESTONES APPROACHING- Tyler Johnson is seven goals short of his 200th NHL goal.- Pavel Zacha is eight assists shy of his 200th NHL assist.- Charlie McAvoy is ten points short of his 300th NHL point.

INJURIES- Hampus Lindholm: Lower body (IR)

BOSTON vs. EDMONTON, LIFETIME SERIES- The Bruins and Oilers are meeting for the 86th time in their histories with a 51-23-6-5 record and 302-248 scoring advantage in those games.- The Bruins are 24-12-3-3 in Edmonton with a 138-135 scoring edge in those 42 games.- The Bruins are 5-0-1 vs. the Oilers in their last six games in Edmonton.

Big test for the D tonight but I think the Bruins could score some goals. If Skinner is off he is capable of losing the game all on his own. Swayman tonight and Korpisalo on Saturday?

Wonder if we will see Wahlstrom. As an armchair coach I am torn over who to sit of he does.

Freddy could sit for a game or two, but they need to showcase him to keep his value up.
Geekie and McLaughlin are scoring, can't douse that.
Koepke could go, but does not deserve to.

Beecher for a game with Kastellic down to the 4th and Wahlstrom on the third.

Hmmm

Bruins looking for their 3rd win in a row. I'm thinking Wahlstrom sits this one out as well, I hope not but 2 wins in a row, I see Sacco going right back to the same well.View attachment 948121
I am thinking you are right ...stay with winning hand until it's not

If he does make a change, my guess is Wahlstrom in for Brazeau- I like Brazz but his game isn't a match for the Oilers speed and quickness

Wahlstrom -> Brazeau
Brazeau -> Kastelic
Kastelic -> Beecher/Koepke

Hope the boys had their winter gear with them as it was colder than -20 C in Edmonton last night and they got more snow

We're having a good old-fashioned winter here in Sask as we had another Alberta clipper come thru Regina last night that brought in some pretty good snow drifts

It's not like Buffalo here, but the snow is starting to accumulate
