I still find it weird seeing Jamal Mayers doing analysis. I remember him in the league. I always liked him. And I know he played for the Sharks. But I have absolutely no memory of him actually being on the ice in a Sharks uni. I have stronger memories of Brad frigging Winchester than I do of Mayers.

He was part of one of those thornton juggernaut teams.
But the play I remember him for was getting destroyed by Mr #69 desjardins

So much truth right here.

I saw him and thought "I'm pretty sure that's Jamal Mayers. Oh yea he DID play for the Sharks"

I'm trying to think of other guys who fit that criteria of being memorable enough as players somewhere in the league that you recognize them, but totally blank on their time in teal.
