Game #33: Sharks @ Oilers - 2 PM - Sportsnet

Put Skinner and Arvie back on Drais line. And let them get their retribution.
I don't exactly understand the short leash on Skinner, Yeah there issue with his play but the highs are way higher and the lows not that worst of anyone else playing ahead.

Maybe I am dumb but I like him either on the top 6 or healthy scratched.

Sharks don't have much of a defense for the Mcdavid/Hyman duo, but fortunately for them, RNH is pretty much playing for the Sharks tonight.

Wish they would move someone else up to the top line sometime, RNH is the raisin in an otherwise delicious desert
a bit harsh even though I've critiqued Nuge tons before. The line is throwing the puck around well, getting Sharks way out of position and it looks like a PP anytime they're on ice. Nuge not finishing though... Hyman got lucky on the goal too. The D deflected it high. Was othewise probably a stop.

You spend $3M and the potential loss of Holloway. You better atleast give it the best chance of working.

It wasn’t a good shift. But it didn’t directly lead to a goal and It’s completely irrelevant to letting in a muffin from the point. It wasn’t a mistake that lead to a breakaway or anything. Agreed though that the players need to be better. It just doesn’t give the goalie a freebie for being ass.
Pickard has to have that. Even though its a perfect shot going off the post. He should've seen it and can't be beat from there on a puck you're seeing. That said Pickard also deft in knocking pucks out of crease today. Twice paddling pucks away nicely and some perfect pad redirects into the corner. The type of thing you don't get with Skinner.

Lot of bad team are bad and fun, some are good and boring, we are f***ing blessed we get both.
We really are. But spolled too. I watch some NHL games and I just have to turn it off. doesn't even compare to what we got and looking like a different league. At one time we had to watch OOT games to see the best teams too. Glad we have what we do now, again. Win lose or Draw the Oilers are top prime entertainment. Good as the NHL ever gets.

Stand corrected, Janmark is listed as the centre. He was even more out of position then 🤣
i get the feeling that Skinner doesn't know what hes doing and the Knob doesnt know where to fit him in.

Hes done nothing to justify playing higher in the lineup and is doing just enough to stay in. You can understand why Buffalo is the way they are. Theres a stink that doesn't rub off easily.

McD saved us from a stinker loss in Boston.

Need to see the rest of the line up, get up and play with some pride.

Skinner might be the worst own zone player we have had in a long time.
That’s his issue. When he doesn’t have the puck he is the worst player on the ice.

Sigh. Come sit down and turn on a game vs SJ for the second and expect we must be destroying them. When will I learn?
