This 6 on 5 is just brutal. Constant cycling with the only seeming intent of "creating some sort of shot from the point"

Delayed penalty 6 on 5, you give them the puck immediately. You don't keep playing. You want the extra man advantage as quickly as possible.

I know someone has said that ECH claims the players for whatever reason don't execute the "practice" system come game time, but a lot of this is just coaching. Full stop. They have zero ideas with a man advantage. Try to find a lane to put a shot from the point on goal, may or may not have someone in front trying to screen. Rinse and repeat.

Looks like the dismal showing continued unabated into the third. That second period was one of the worst I've seen the Kraken play. They collectively looked like a team of fifth graders who panicked and forgot how to play the game. I agree that this is more than a coaching problem--it is certainly another indicator that change in personnel on the ice needs to happen.

Changes need to be made. Front office? coaching? Both? I’m don’t care.

The PP, pass pass pass pass pass pass other team intercepts and sends the puck down the ice is beyond old, and then rinse and repeat.

SHOOT the effing PUCK! Do not care if you don’t have a wide open look. If one of their players wants to get in the way of a 90mph missle, so be it, enjoy the rest of the game in the locker room nursing that injury.

There is never a sense of urgency with Disco Dan or Hackstall when he was coaching… just keep on doing the same thing and expect different results.

Time for changes.

Is that really coaching or just a roster that isn't talented enough to force other teams consistantly into what they want to do? Or maybe both?

I think it's both cause I think even if Bylsma coaches the sh** out of them forcefeeding them what they should do there won't be much change there.

We've got a roster of players that aren't highly skilled offensively.
Because of that we're trying to cicla, go down low and pass it back tot he blueline in order to create shots from that spot.

In order for that to be successful you need players that are able to go net front and make the life of goaltenders and defenders tough which this roster isn't able to do.

BTW: I'm sick and tired of all that "play a full 60 minutes, work hard" crap that is always being brought up.
You can't just outhustle your opponents for 82 games.

The problem with that is that ownership seems to expect a "competitive team" and unless the team falls off a cliff, they'll be close enough to NHL .500 or "the playoffs" for Francis to not make changes.

Especially if the trades would be a bit risky and have a chance of him not winning them. As we all know, he seems quite uneasy doing anything that isn't clearly going to look good for him.

Of course talking about trades, as free agency is where he's going for it and doesn't look any good.

If it's multiple coaches having the same problem maybe it's not just the coaches?
I think if there are changes it needs to be a shakeup of the roster and/or front office.
