Yup. Good comparison. He doesn't get walked as much as Breeze-bye did, but Barron falls a lot, doesn't really know what to do when things go wrong & hesitates too much when going back on a dump in in our zone, like he doesn't know what he wants to do with the puck.

It's possible with more experience his decision making improves, because that's his big problem. His ability to make quick decisions on the ice.

There's Barron flopping again.

2-0.
Barron wishes he was as good as Brisebois! Patrice played 17 years in the NHL and won the Jean Beliveau Trophy.

Barron definitely having a bad night, and he's prone to these kind of mistakes, but I ain't ready to throw the baby out with the bath water. He's 22 and has very good offensive instincts. D is easier to teach than offence.
Just need good coaches. Not convinced we have that.

Can't trust these longed necked hockey players.

Can't think of many good ones.

The Staals ? Perry ?

They're like the outliers. Long necks are usually terrible players.

You want the tortoises like Marchand and Draisaitl.

Lol. I’ve posted before that I’m ecstatic the staff lives with Barron’s mistakes, but I do think the time has come to have a night off and watch a game with a bird’s eye view

Barron is barely 22, maybe since the team is rebuilding we should not be so harsh.

I personally don't think he will be here longterm but you never know.
I like his potential but it’s every touch he’s shaky tonight, could use a breather no big deal
