Well that was fun.

Bruins dominated the second and third, even though, the second was frustrating because we had breakaways, 2on1's, 1-timers from Pasta... and then they score on their first shot in 10 minutes. The guys showed great heart sticking together and not getting down when they were up 2. Calgary is a fast, forechecking team and we outshot them 27-14 in those two periods.

Really good move by Sacco to put Charlie Coyle on the 2nd line too. That line really took off after that with Coyle making plays, getting pucks to the net... Coyle may be the answer to the 2nd line RW slot. That could also create an opening for Poitras on the 3rd line between Frederic and Brazeau. Make line 2 your matchup line.

Nobody gets more demoralized than me if the Bruins are down by a couple but for some strange reason I was optimistic going into period 3 . Great comeback win !

Skinner is capable of losing a game all on his own . Let’s hope he is off .
Skinner was off last night against the panthers, but the odds are probably not in the B's favor of him being off two games in a row (unless he has a nagging injury)

..either way, the B's will have to start on time, skate their asses off and check the shit outta them if they want to win

He played a team that can actually shoot the puck and the winner was off his head from behind the goal line! If Mc Jesus , Draisaital, and Hyman come down with pnuemonia, we might have a chance but I wouldn't bet the mortgage on it!

Where should Wahlstrom play?

Where should Wahlberg play?
Providence.

Just kidding. Honestly, I have to see Wahlstrom play first. He's a big guy but he hasn't been that physical or tenacious. He has a great shot but he gets less shots through than Zacha... He's a work in progress.

The first thing I want to see is his compete level. For the Bruins to win they need to play hard, play with pace, win battles, back check... So he needs to "fit in" from a compete standpoint.

I hate to say it, because getting buried on the 4th line is the story of his career, but maybe the should start him on the 4th line. That's the one line that's not winning their matchups, so that's the line I'd tinker with first.

If he shows he can compete, then maybe he replaces Frederic on the 3rd line (if Frederic is dealt).

Oilers have lots of fire power, but they're not invincible

B's have their work cut out for them for sure, but if they skate and check hard and stay out of the penalty box they might be able to hang with them

That's the problem, they don't skate or check hard! Most can't even stay on their feet. Equipment guy should grab a couple pairs of double runner skates for Carlo, Kopekne, Beecher, and Brazzeau and maybe then they could stay on their feet. I'm sure it wouldn't slow any of them down!

Good road win, I guess. Poor start. Stuck with it. Great finish.

Thought Coyle looked good with Lindholm and Marchand. Nice to see Lindholm on the score sheet a couple times. Works as hard as anyone.

Pastrnak can break a game at any point. Just an unreal talent that gets underappreciated IMO.

Zadorov continuing to play like a top 2-4 Defenseman.

They skated and checked hard in the 3rd period tonight, and the Vancouver game ..so they can when they put their minds to it

Hey, love hearing everyones takes & some are fantastic.Biggest keys for me vs Edm are stay out of box & structure.Least they got 2 pts tonite though.

Yeah, they stayed outta the box tonight and were able to come back with the win ...I thought the refs did a pretty good job tonight letting them play

It'll be even more important to stay outta the box against the Oilers

Why did they score on that first shot though is the question. Its called mix up in coverage because forwards are late picking up guy coming back.Lomberg cut across and Carlo had him but when he left the puck there Carlo let him go to get out on that guy with puck setting up to shoot .We know Lomberg tapped it in open cage but if Carlo is able to continue on in coverage there with him then that goal never happens. Its really important the Bruins clean this stuff up because they are not type team that will out firepower playoff teams.Anyways that is how I saw that. They aldo started the game with McAvoy icing the puck instead of taking one more stride but he saw the hit coming.Little things are big things with this type team if you want to compete with so called better teams.
