Devils are the better team.. going 1-1 against them feels lucky
They are, but I don't think the Blues are very far off. It's abundantly clear that the forward core of Buch, Thomas, and Kyrou aren't enough to do the heavy-lifting. They will need 1 or 2 more guys to add to this core before we can really talk about playoffs. The Devils have Hughes, Hischier, Bratt, and Meier. One extra guy makes a big difference, and we are hoping Dvorsky and/or Snuggerud can make that difference sooner rather than later.

I think Holloway is on his way into that group of three as well. TBH

I wanna be on that timeline.

f*** coaxing that bitch. Just start the fight.

Lol did you see the p***y hiding behind his team mate? Should have grabbed his team mate and beat the f*** out of him to send a message to the entire team that the p***y would prefer his team get hurt than him.

Ok so hear me out, We have Buch/Thomas/Kyrou for our top line and if Dvorsky works out our 2nd line can be Holloway/Dvo/Bolduc or Snuggy

I mean that sounds like the workings of a legit contending top 6.

Kyrou needs a point in the next home game to tie Janney at 13 games.

A top 6 of Buch, Thomas, Kyrou, Holloway, Dvo, and Snuggy sounds Great, then Bolduc Schenn and Neighbours on the 3rd line.

Edit: I do want Thomas and Kyrou split up. But I want Kyrou with someone better than Saad or Toropchenko.

That’s what I’m really asking, how does Army not prioritize getting at least a 2c? It’s going to cost something you don’t like but that’s my point. Where’s the line for Army and why
If he can similarly improve center short term without dealing a 1st or top prospect, I think he'd love to do it. But seemingly only time an opportunity to acquire that type of player is when they have scary contract.

I totally hear you, and I do believe Holloway can play 2LW comfortably, but I see him as more of a support player like Saad was on the Blackhawks. We need another guy who can put up close to a point per game.

Yeah, it seems like the only guy actually available right now is Josh Norris. Which while it would be an Immediate upgrade and I think he would slot in perfectly between Holloway and Kyrou. I think his shoulder injury and his 8M a year cap hit for the next 5 or 6 years is a big no no.

Edit: And I think Dvorsky will be a better fit.

Not to mention the fact that with the standings as bunched up as they are there aren't that many sellers right now. When the deadline comes, solid middle six centers are at a premium. Obviously getting a guy signed beyond this year makes more sense than a UFA but we also don't need anyone to block Dvorsky. I have a feeling we might be seeing him in the second half of the season, especially if we fall out of the playoff race. That could be another reason Army isn't in a hurry to make a trade for a center.
