I can forgive the loss to Winnipeg. They had won 4 in a row and were due for a loss but the Seattle game was unacceptable. Granted, they had a lot of bad luck in that one and the early penalties just killed them but the effort wasnt there. They need to win one of the next two on this trip.
This team can't get in early 2 or 3 goal defecits their system and to some extent skill doesn't allow them to pour it on offensively. When they try the defensive structure falls apart and all hell breaks loose.

Will be interesting to see where Wahlstrom slots in , if/when he's promoted to the big club. Would have to think McG is the odd man out unless another player is traded. Personally, I'd leave Poitras at Providence for the year unless injuries dictate otherwise.
Agree on Poitras
Let him marinate
The skill is definitely there.... now let him learn how to use it and protect himself more....a little bigger stronger and awareness will do him wonders

You, Playmaker and I are the only people here that don't consider him a literal
AHL scrub. He is 15\16 F on the depth chart but a 15\16 F that somehow has 5G in
in 21 G while playing almost exclusively 4th line minutes and rarely making less than good reads on the ice. He will be sent back to Providence upon return to Boston
wondering WTF did I do wrong...lol.

Personally I think he should be used to motivate Beecher before they bring Poitras back up because that guy has gotten way way to comfortable.

You did see his goal last night, right? A double deflection off Vancouver players after they had turned it over in their own zone. Bruins were already up 3-0 and Canucks were floundering.

That said, a goal is a goal. He doesn't hurt the team any when he's out there. I don't really see much upside potential, though.

We all have our favorites. I'll be rooting for your guy. Afterall, he's a Bruin.

Forever, because we are Bruins fans. I don't know what else we can do unless we give up on the team and stop following them. I don't think I can do that. Maybe some are stronger than I

You must be a real fan.

Vancouver went into game 15-8-5 a 103 point pace and just beat Panthers 4-0

Just fed all this info into the sorting leather hockey helmet and came out good team

Vancouver went into this game with a +5 goal differential, the very definition of mediocre.

They're also 8th in a 16 team conference, which is also definitely mediocre.

Big win last night. Next six games need to beat up on some bad competition. Flames, sabres and CBJ x2.

Despite the two teams meeting in the Final 13 years ago, and otherwise not meeting often, there is still a rivalry there.

The Vancouver crowd booing Marchand clearly motivated him.

It is almost as if the product is better when there is emotion and a healthy hatred between the two clubs.
