Empty net goal. Well, that period sort of got away from us early and we never did recover.

Um….did I miss something? What does this have to do with the game? I loved the Atlanta Flames and their logo, but I can’t stand what Calgary did to it. It looks like a goldfish set on fire.
Well Forslund was talking about players who had 6 point games and names like Eddie Olczyk came up as well as Luc Robitaille,Jimmie Carson,Gilbert Perreault and someone else I think and said something about someone scoring 6 points against the Calgary Flames in 1972...that could not have been because Atlanta was moved to Calgary in 1980 by Nelson Skalbania the same guy who turned Gretzky pro in 1978 for Indianapolis Racers and then traded/sold him to the Oilers

Pretty even period. Just a one goal game and Tampa don't exactly look like world beaters after taking the lead in the first.

Don't know, but weren't they still in Atlanta then?
Atlanta came into the NHL as an Expansion team in 1972 along with the NY Islanders and were actually a decent/good club...by 1980 though attendance was waivering and Nelson Skalbania bought the Flames and sold them to a bunch of Calgary business man well heeled in Calgary and the Franchise attained success they could never in Atlanta because Calgary spent the money on acquiring players ,drafting good/great players and getting some really good College/University UFA's
