Turned out to be one of the sloppier games I recall this year by both teams. Thought they could get to Bernier, which they did. Missed an opportunity to finish him off early. The overall team play and Dubby struggles unfortunately didn't provide the effort needed to capitalize on the opportunity presented. Tough night.

Time to regroup and get ready for the Kings. They also present a similar opportunity with their goaltending situation. It's been very suspect when they had to run with a starter who was slated to spend the year in the minors. He now has to carry the load with Quicke on the sidelines. Please B's, don't make him appear to be a version of George Venzia. :)

Khubodin's first time here was on a Stanley Cup Final team. It's much easier to hide behind that team than it is our current below average team.
He's straight up bad right now but our D definitely doesn't give him a ton of help

He seems to have lost all of the quickness & energy that made him look like TT Lite his first time around in Boston.

completely disagree.. has he scored in two straight, yes, but they were both pucks that basically landed on his stick (yes, ill give you the kick to the stick, but hes an nhl player, he should be able to do that). he was abysmal for 2/3 of each game.. then when we are in the emergency time in the third you start to see some hustle. he is easily the most maddening guy on this team. just acts like he doesnt care. for example. in the 5 on 3 we have zone control they kick it back to the point , he takes his eye off it and it slides past the blue line, possession lost, 25 seconds off the clock. his no look passes leading to a easy giveaway, wobbly wristers, sloppy dekes and coasting need to be recognized. highest paid player on this team should really start playing like it

Lets not forget he scored the goal that got the Ducks back in the game last night. Yes, he's still turning the puck over at an alarming rate and has caught Hayes at -7.

Bruins are just not very good.

The Bruins' OT win against the Canadiens gave us hope.
But we're brought back to reality the very next game. This is a mediocre team.

4 goals given up just isn't going to cut it, ever.

We need to make some changes if we want to become a playoff caliber team.

The next game was a 4-3 OT loss on the road against the defending Cup winners who are currently leading the league. Not a terrible reality, that.
