Big test for Lavy here. Odds are he benches Rempe and double shifts the usual suspects. If this happens and they end up losing it's another nail in his coffin for me.

Never understood how those high sticks are missed

High sticks are easily the most missed penalty. Refs dont call penalties unless they think the stick hit the player in the face 100% and they saw it clearly. Making bad penalty calls that are NOT penalties not even a weak penalty will cost the refs playoff assignments and playoff games equals money. Refs are NOT punished for not calling penalties that should be called. I wish that the nhl punished officials who swallow the whistle similar to how nba officials get called out in 2 minute reports.
