The problem, as has been the entire time, is the forwards lack of backchecking, lifting sticks, staying near their men, etc.

Trading for Will Borgen didn't make them suddenly play NHL level defense. Still floating.

That's not the only issue. Routinely they have 4 players back on 3 attackers and they do not communicate or identify who should take who. Structural and team play based issues that mix with the overall laziness
