Guhle looked sensational at the start of the year but hasn't come close to that since coming back from injury. He's way closer to a #4 dman than a #2 dman so far in his career. Was hoping to see more growth in his game.

Slaf needs to be told every shifts to keep his feet moving. Every single shift.

Yes I hate his body posture when he does not have the puck. Get some weight on those feet and stick and keep it mobile, ahead of the play.

My super spicy take is that Xhekaj has been better than Guhle for a large part of the season now.

Guhle is getting the tougher match-ups, but Xhekaj's game has grown exponentially over the last month. He's playing with a ton of confidence.

It will get better. Teams haven't stopped this particular play yet but pkers also have to respect suzuki's ability to snipe as well as caufield. Then you have hutson's vision and lateral movent at the back.

They will find other options but the go to has to be the guy with 5 or 6 pp goals in about as many games until it cools down.

Overall, that was a good period by Montreal. It wasn't as exciting as 1st period because there were no goals. They played stronger defensively.

Despite getting 2 PPs, Detroit only got 5 shots. Montreal was the stronger team 5 on 5.

We might get to 30 shots tonight! Just need 6 more.
