The debut of Mukhamadullin! Will he be worse or better than Thrun? All we know is we now have a bad-stats, bad-attitude starter in goal, so that HAS to be good right?

4-3 Blues (how can I not predict Fourgiev)...
Buchnevich, Kyrou, Neighbours, Parayko.
Celebrini off the schneid... Toffoli, Liljegren.

Good gravy. Wake up call for Eklund I guess. I still disagree with demoting him THAT low but I'm not an NHL coach so...
With great power comes great responsibility, and Eklund has great power, but he's gotta use it more.

I think you couldn't do that to Gecko right now. He was so good in most of the games before und he took a big step at his development. Everybody has bad games, but this seems to be a bit hard for him.
So what...
Sharks 4 (Mack 3 / Gecko)
Blues 3 (Kyrou / Holloway / Buch)

Asking a guy to ball out 100% of the time when you aren't fighting for a playoff spot and punishing him when he doesn't is insane.

I'm convinced vets get the benefit of the doubt because they've figure out the art of convincing their coach that they're working as hard as they possibly can even when they're going at 75%.

This is just mismanagement by an inexperienced coach, nothing more

Eklund has played well, he's just being used as a whipping boy by a coach who needs to look like he doesn't play favorites, instead he just looks out of his depth

The Lund line as a whole (Eklund included) weren't great last game but Eklund was great on Kunin's 2nd goal. But I see what you mean

F the schedule/sports makers for putting the Sharks and 49ers on at the same time. I could just watch one and DVR the other, but there is so much stuff happening tonight it's one of those nights where I'm starting to not like sports.

SNOG

Blues 5 (Saad, Kyrou, Buchnevich, Halloway, Sundqvist)
Sharks 3 (Granlund, Celebrini, Eklund)

Even though the Blues are no where near the level of the Canes, Panthers, and Lightning this will still be a tough one in my opinion, the Blues are 5-1-1 since they hired Montgomery.

Will still be an interesting watch as we get to see Kovalenko with Celebrini, Shak makes his debut this season and Georgiev gets his first start.

Blues 5-4 Kovalenko, Toffoli, Granlund, Walman

Another great example of Wario not having a handle on this yet

72-71-20 was an awesome line but because Smith got hurt he threw that whole line in the dumpster to reunite the Lunds instead of leaving what was working well enough alone, he could have had one makeshift line but he decided he needed two

Naturally, this is all William Eklund's fault, so now he gets to find his game playing with 4th liners

Wario has some strong suits, I don't know if people skills is one of them

I’m not sure “mismanagement by the coach” is particularly fair. Eklund has actually responded very positively when he’s been demoted like this and he VERY quickly moves up the lineup. He’s still young and rather than necessarily see it as a demotion you can see it as being placed on a line where he doesn’t need to worry about scoring — he needs to worry about fighting for each puck, working hard, etc. These guys are still being developed, it’s not a bad lesson to learn for him.

He’ll be up the lineup by the 2nd period, I’m sure.
