I said it earlier in this game that the Kings make Frolik look like Hossa. I wasn't too far off with that comment (or my comment that the Kings are a slump buster).

The defending tonight has been a disaster. That guy was going to take the puck right to Quick unless someone took a penalty. With four guys around him.

It was quick that froze the puck needlessly. Kings had the momentum and are getting killed in face offs tonight. It was a recipe for another goal against.

Not really a surprise though. Hawks speed against a young defense.
Quick had to be the best defender for the kings. Hasn't made a big stop yet.
I might have to rewind and watch again but I remember a King putting the puck in front of Quick from the corner. A Blackhawk was closer to it than a King, so instead of just throwing it to the corner where the Blackhawks can get it, he covers it. It's the safer play since he sucks at playing the puck.
