This is what I fear...if lines 1 & 2 stop scoring, we're in trouble, because 3 & 4 are giving us nothing.
Line 4 has been very good in their role, but big time scoring they are not.

4th line has been great shutdown line and has scored some goals, i’m perfectly fine with them.

3rd line has been ass entire season
Could not have said it better.

I give credit to goaltending and overall team defense.
That's part of the problem, needing the forwards to help with the overall team defense. It takes away from the offense, to a degree.
While your statements correct, they won't be able to avoid playing strong defensively, if they have any interest in being cup contenders. So..... may just as well start proper habits now.

It isn't the system, it's the questionable overall consistency and depth of the blueliners. Only 1 top 4 D ( yes, Kesselring is close). I'm still hoping for a Provorov trade.

It was weird. They tracked players going on and off the ice along the bottom of the screen (w/ TOI)…z Putting out a lot of things like shot speeds and skating speed. Guys on the set were reacting to the game play like any fan would.

Intermission they were breaking down plays from the previous period the entire break

For some people it might be a bit much trying to track the game as it’s happening but great for between period breakdowns.

Hockey nerds would probably love it.
Ok, seems like it's "fun stats" rather than anything too deep. Thanks for the rundown, the stats mid play sound interesting, but not anything too insightful. I like analysis stuff, so intermission sounds appealing, but this isn't something I'm getting on top of my current streaming that covers every other game and broadcast for the whole league all season and playoffs.

I didn’t say it was the system. What I said was quite clear.
Better D? Sure and add a 1C while we’re at it. Either way, the entire team must be defensively responsible for success.
