This was a damn good game, Burns has 8 pts in 7 games not injured.

What Ratto? He was struggling last year? How in ****? 6 games this season while injured means nothing whatsoever.

I have no clue why Ray Ratto is employed, absolutely none.

Wow. Ratto... no point to moving Burns back to Defense? Ratto is an idiot.

On KNBR today, he said the same thing. He thinks Burns is overpaid and a sub-par defenseman.

I get nervous on the ice when Demers, Braun, or Irwin has the puck in the defensive zone.

All three of them don't seem to move the puck well under pressure. Irwin and Demers just seem to casual with the puck at times. Demers tried, once or twice today, to do a fancy little move with the puck behind his own net with a forechecker incoming; the attacker just pushed him off the puck.

I really can't see Burns at forward all season long like Ratto just suggested, but who knows.

Team is a fargin' enigma.

I'd rather see him at forward through the end of the season at this point than back on D. Even with some glaring errors from Braun, Demers, and Irwin over time, they're going to need to play in order to improve themselves. When they make another trade to move someone off the blue line is when they can put Burns back but they play much faster right now with those four in the spots they're in and they need that more than anything right now.

No Murray, Pavs on the 3rd line and 5 goals and pretty good passing and suddenly the team doesn't look like the Marleau/Couture/Thornton/Burns show anymore but like an actual team.

No ****!! How hard could it really have been for the dumbass coaching staff to see that this is the way to run the team. No way was this performance all just trade deadline fear...

Whatever... that 3rd line is a pretty good mix IMO. If they continue like this I trade Clowe but not Zeus. He's too valuable if they make the playoffs and incase of injuries IMO. PK, faceoffs etc... probably won't get much for him anyway.

Man where has this team been...:shakehead

Unusally... I agree with Ratto. Burns has really helped the breakout as a forward. Much more so then if he were on D. You can't argue with the current results

As well as we played, what to do when Clowe is ready??? Not sure I would disrupt these lines as they seemed to work well today. Very entertaining game. Lots more offensive chances than in a long while.

It's going to take some time for them to shore up their decision-making process but it comes with experience and getting game time. They'll get better but there will be growing pains with all of them.

How many times did the puck bounce off the side boards and go towards the net? make one wonder what the Ducks are doing with there boards...

They tipped their hand when they deliberately shot it at that spot of the net and it bounced right out to the slot. That's ******** man, you can have lively boards but you can't have boards that ****ing direct the puck to the slot.

What, not enough grit? Guess we'll just have to outscore other teams then

I've stopped listening to fatto ever since he responded to my tweets a couple years ago. I had a very good laugh at those two responses then realized..this man has not a clue about hockey. Not worth anymore of my time

Its Hockey 101. Burns goes to the net and battles. Simple, effective, and it works. Maybe the rest of the Shark forwards will follow

Murray was always much better at this, due mainly to his grit.

They will probably sit Desi, put Galiardi on the 4th line and slap Clowe with Pavs and Sheppard.

Demers just needs to continue to play to get his confidence back. A couple seasons ago he was pretty solid in the playoffs. That ability is still there, he's just coming out of really rough patch still IMO.

Only negative of this game was that the Marleau-Couture-Wingels line was really bad outside a couple of chances. The biggest problem is that that line doesn't have an F2, which is ironic considering pretty much every other forward on the team is an F2. But yeah, they got slaughtered against RPG, and couldn't maintain much zone-time because they didn't have a playmaker. Good in transition, but otherwise not good.

Well against RPG, a line that doesn't consist of 3 studs is going to get worked.

Amazing, pavelski goes to center the third line and he has his most productive game in ages.

Sheppard had a very good game. He was very effective. I hope that goal gets his scoring juices flowing.

The sharks are instantly faster without Murry and Clowe on the ice.

Demers made a dumb move at the end there but all in all I thought he was decent tonight. I'm hoping him playing more will minimize brain farts like that.
