You be the judge. Looks like a full blown elbow to the jaw to me.

A 4 point game.
It will interesting to see if the wings can bring their A game.
I suppose Talbot will get the start. If Kane, he is overdue, secondary scoring and the defenders can contribute offensively, we win 5-2

the moment I saw Compher and Rasmussen scoring I knew we gonna win no matter what.

I think that's why it is called secondary scoring and this is something we lack in like 90% of games
The team brought their A game.
Kane gwg and assist
Compher, Veleno and Rasmussen score
Chiarot 30 min and +3

Veleno a goal and an assist last 2 games.
Lyon 2ish semi soft goals. I thought Talbot would start. However, good to see that the team for once could bail out the goalie.

Compher has 7 points the last 6.
Veleno and Rasmussen showing some more life.
Kasper had a strong game again without any points to show for it.

Dylan Larkin sucks this season, don't know why it's not talked about more. So many games like this one where he's a complete non-factor but picks up 1 or 2 points on the PP or EN.

Who had the hit against Edvinsson? Make sure Watson? Is in next time and make sure they answer for it. Can't let that stuff slide against your young star defenseman. Really hope he's not out for any duration...
Pretty sure it was Ristolainen.

Losing Edvinsson would be devastating. Chiarot had his best game all season, and Seider was really dominant yesterday and our defense was still a huge mess after Ed left. An extended absence may feel a lot like losing Larkin did last year

North of the 'D"
Am I the only one who say Edvinsson take a cheap shot to the jaw?!?! If his jaw is not broken I will be surprised.

He took a headshot from Ristolinen (sp?) towards the end of the 1st. He skated right to the bench afterwards but was able to finish the period. Not surprised no one noticed because not one of the p***yes on this roster did a thing about it.

It is definitely a bad hit. Ristolainen definitely elevated as he came into the hit and planted his shoulder right into Edvinsson's chin. Edvinsson got knocked over, lost his stick, and immediately skated straight to the bench.

probably because he doesn't? Larkin actually screams "consistency" and "determination". With players like him teams win cups. the only thing that actually sucks is that we have only one Larkin.

I really hope Edvinsson is OK. That was a dirtbag shot to him.

Also, is it just my eyes or is Larkin not realgud this year? The points are finally coming but he just doesn't look explosive to me this year.
I completely agree. He's obviously still getting result's for us. But he doesn't seem as dominant in the center of the ice. But each year skating gets more and more improved by all players so maybe the gap is narrowing. Not to mention he's getting older slowly lol

His skating still looks fine. Maybe I should have said he looks more 'dull' than lacking explosiveness. Like he's not as quick to recognize the gaps Dylan would dart into and create a scoring chance in the past. His play seems more on the perimeter this year than before. Still a top 20 center in the league but maybe he's just getting tired from carrying the load when management hasn't really done much for the guy.

He also has LOTS of little giveaways in the neutral zone.

Yeah, it's either mental fatigue or being checked out/not dialed in. Again, that points to coaching.

Even in a 6-4 win where Detroit actually outshot their opponent (for what, maybe the 5th time this year?) I don't think they were the better team with the types of giveaways they had. Even if the team still tanks they need to fire Fester this year.

I know it was just the flyers... but...

Holl-Petry looked "alright" next to each other imo. Wonder if that's something that'll hang around as a functional 15 minute a night thing. Weird pairing.
