I hope we're pumping the tires on some of these guys (Kane, Teresenko, any one of the three goalies, all d-men born before 2000, Veleno, Rasmussen, Fischer) and we're shipping as many out as possible for 2nd round and later picks before the deadline.

I've read that the next draft might be a little deeper than usual because there are a lot of high-risk high-reward Russians, so 2nd round picks aren't worthless. Unless we just use them to package a trade for future considerations to get another team to take a young serviceable defenseman on a reasonable contract. Then they're worthless.
Kane and Tank are beyond the point of pumping tires. You want to park them behind a bush or something to hide the dents and leaking engine bay... The less icetime they see the more their names might still have value...

Lalonde had "no hard feelings" about Torts pulling the goalie and costing us a trip to the postseason.

Can somebody in this f***ing organization grow some goddamn balls and be pissed off once in a while?? Total lack of accountability.
Eh we lost to the Sharks, you can't have your fate decided by other teams. If you get screwed that's on you.

Since the end of last season - with Lalonde still behind the bench - it's just hard to have any positive vibes.

Flyers get on them quick have to be more deliberate quick passes. Indecisive breakout as a 5 man group. Good teams can figure this out. The flyers play fast but they can be exposed for it

Yes, Ed forced a pass where Compher was flat footed and covered at the opposing blueline. Couturier picked it off and sprung Konecny

I just got in, and took a quid look at it. Ill advised by Ed but my god all 3 forwards were flat footed at the blue line. So painful to watch.
