Yeah the 22 year old D with 5 goals in 27 games playing his sophomore season is so bad you guys....

Edit: He played 39 games last season so don't know if sophomore is right. Hes also on pace for like 150 blocked shots and 100 hits...

First 10 minutes were boring as f***, but it picked up in final 10. Montreal is playing a fairly well team game. There's just a few of individuals who completely screw it up (Matheson, Barron, Gallagher).

Suzuki line is struggling in their own zone mainly because Caufield can't win a puck battle at all. If it gets shot to his side, it stays in, and Jets are ensuring it gets to his side. The right side D steps up on him.

One of Caufield's underrated weaknesses that I've noticed since he's gone pro is his ability to take passes. He fumbles a lot of pucks.

Well my fellow Habs fans. Struble played what would essentially be RD given our penchant for inverting. He was a defensive blanket breaking up two plays on that side. Good news for those of us who want to see both Struble and Xhekaj in the lineup. My dislike of Matheson's play hasn't been helped tonight.

You gotta be encouraged by Struble for sure. He just plays smart solid D.

I get that he's young, but the mistakes that Barron makes in the defensive end is equivalent to a forward that has to play defense to cover for a pinch.

Slafkovsky's passes to Caufield could probably come down about 10km/hr. He's whipping that disc.

Seriously. It's like he was taking wrist shots to pass it to him. I don't know if he passed it with such vehemence because 75% of the normal passes end up in a turnover. But Slaf's passes to Cole were harder than the actual shots he takes sometimes.
