Jim: "Oh, it's Shane Doan. I DOAN remember."

Thorne: "....it's too early for this."

Please, pay him whatever he wants. I need him when Bob retires.

Better period than I expected to be honest. Very evenly played. Unfortunately given the circumstances and the lineup I don't expect it to get better

Kopitar invisible, is he going to have another sub 20G scoring season ?

Guy is making over 10 million this year.

Can't afford Kopitar to not score goals. Literally, can't afford to pay the guy, to score sub 20G seasons.

I still don't get how easily Kopitar loses those opening draws on the PP. He's done it for years. Does he do that on purpose? Is it a strategy? Not that it doesn't seem like it's almost impossible for any King to not get a shot blocked on the PP when they do have the puck.

That's a stat I'd love to see. It has to be somewhere. In the deep recesses of the Kings stat room or something. The number of times Kopitar has taken that first PP faceoff, whether he wins or loses, and how many seconds get wasted chasing the puck down the ice. Then it's not like they're great at bringing the puck in on the PP. It has to be on purpose, right? Like he loses it, then the wingers have to force the defender to flip it around the boards, to a waiting point man? Because it doesn't look like he tries to win it, and he's out there all the time.
