You could throw any goalie in the Rangers net and we probably see the same result in this game. It's so pathetic how bad we are at finishing

I don't know about you, but feels good to be on a 10 game winning streak headed into the holidays

Unfortunately we just don't have enough scoring talent.

We also severely overated Stankoven and Borque too. They aren't NHL level scorers.

Players who were on the power play tonight should be ashamed of themselves.

It's incredible that at no point did DeBoer just say f*** it and throw out non-PP guys on the PP. The patience they have with these guys is incredible

To compliment PDB, I like his suit jacket choice

He's got some kind of rotation going on, or at minimum a handful of distinct suits he goes through.

Feel like most other coaches stick with a couple plain colors.

I'm sure there's someone who tracks this.

Nah, Stank has it. He does everything right. He'll be fine.

Bourque yeah he's balls. It's worth trying anyone else in his spot right now. Then again that won't really solve anything but at least it removes one frustration for me.

This team is progressing exactly like Vegas under PDB and pretty similar to San Jose as well. It all could have been avoided by firing DeBoer last spring and hiring Berube like I wanted, but now they'd have to gamble with a less proven new coaching hire. It's still worth doing though.

Also, remember how this team looks the next time a preseason rolls around and you argue for including three (or more) rookie forwards in the lineup.

Ur right. How stupid of any of us to doubt your analysis as you surely knew that all of Robertson, Hintz, Heiskanen and Johnston would all struggle offensively and our PP% would drop down from 24% to 16%. Nill should have known this would happen and fired DeBoer and Spott after the season. Also clearly if we had less rookies in the lineup these numbers would be better.

(also there is no way any of this gets better)

Just play the U-22 kids, coaching in the NHL is very easy! :sarcasm:

Plenty of veterans on this team. Don't see why having 3 rookies is a bad thing (Stankoven is good, Bäck has been fine on the 4th line, Bourque isn't actively hurting the team). Tough to blame any of those guys for the powerplay and veteran struggles.
