I don't trust DeSmith either but playing Oettinger when he's clearly anywhere near his usual self is just a bad idea. It's not just the goals he's given up. He's also not tracking the puck and his rebounds are all over the place.

If he does not want to make a trade before the holidays…cool. But to wait till after a tournament which ends a week before the deadline is strange. He is a good GM but this team needs help. Make the move.
