Even if the league does nothing else regarding salary cap in the playoffs, there should be a rule that if you’re on LTIR at the end of the regular season, you can’t play in round 1 of the playoffs.

If the Viking wasn't such a warrior and played with integrity (unlike Stone and Eichel) he would have laid on the ground, milking the call. Instead he's a big balls warrior and the refs f*** the team for having some goddam integrity.

Holloway was awesome, especially in the playoffs. But Podkolzin fills in on that line with Drai so well. He is constantly disrupting the opposition with good positioning, throws punishing hits, and just makes smart plays in the O-zone to maintain possession.

Holloway may get more pts through his career, but I think Podz has Nichushkin like potential to be a perfect glue guy who can also put points up with this team.

If he keeps playing like this I bet the Oil can get him at a bargain contract too. Would he say no to $2m x 4? Gives him financial security and the price is reasonable enough that the team can justify using him all over the lineup, even if his play drops off.
