Despite the completely one-sided officiating for the Bettman Golden Showers, the Oilers had better turn up their intensity if they don't want to end up losing this game...

I hardly ever get upset about officiating but that non-call on Eichel might have triggered me more than I've ever been by a call. It really does make you wonder if the refs had a "mandate" to keep the game competitive. They HAD TO call the Barbashev penalty so they get no credit for making an obvious call.

I mean he’s 10ft away looking right at it.

It wasn’t the hardest shove but it’s just plain reckless from Eichel to shove a guy who’s in such a vulnerable position

I mean anyone doubting that at this point needs to just look at the body language on the ref closest to the play. Standing right there. Knows his arm should be in the air. Kinda wants to put his arm in the air. Realizes he’s waited too long. Smug look creeps across his face knowing Gary has his back.

And Vegas just stands back laughing, knowing that they have impunity.

I’m at the game, he literally got escorted to the box by a ref while whining about it. There was no ambiguity there.

The 12 year old and the other dumbass simply decided to reverse it.

Is theodore overrated? He assisted on one of our goals handing the puck right to us in the slot in front of his net. He's had several miscues in this one. If Booch was doing this we'd hear about it for months.

Eichel shouldn't even be in the game still. What a joke. Guy does nothing all game, slams Ekholm head first into the boards which is a major to most clubs.

the reffing association will never lets refs be subject to those questions, because they know they're trash and the job is to manage the game.

In Edmonton as long as you look like you want to stay in a warm cell for the night nothing happens for shoplifting or harassment. I even saw a dude tell a cop “if I had a gun I would shoot you in the face” and the cop laughed.

That was a fun few weeks when we did the parking lot next to Rogers Place in front of the Boyle Street hub.

Refs should have to be interviewed after games like in some other sports. Bring some accountability in.

Also, Eichel's back has the consistency of peanut brittle and is pulling shit like that? Not only reckless but also f***ing gutless.

Unlike other leagues that make their officials accountable by having them explain their calls after the game, these guys are protected, never have to answer for their mistakes, and coaches and players get fined if they they even hint of any wrongdoing by the officials.
