Lindgren wasn't even thinking about that. He was thinking about doing his job, as he will be today.

Wilson might do something but he's not stopping Lindgren from doing his job. That's why people say deterrence is not a thing.

Not worried about Wilson. He just got off suspension, if he made another questionable hit today he could be out for a lot longer. Also, this team plays better when games are chippy imo.

Gauthier should really be playing especially given it’s a back to back. Also, kid line should be broken up imo, none of them are playing particularly well together and it’s too easy for none of them to get decent minutes like this.

After Lindgren's awesome hit on Ovy the entire Caps team was going after Lindgren for the rest of the period.

Next period, Ovy scores two goals while being completely unmolested while parked in front of the net. Not a cross-check, nobody getting physical with him, nothing.

Coincidence? Maybe. Maybe not.

Maybe so, but Georgie left the best goal scorer in history a nice juicy empty net twice in a row. Maybe if he was in position he stops at least one of those and we get to OT

If you don't think Lindgren isn't thinking about Wilson tonight you're seriously mistaken.
A rested Wilson will have a MAJOR impact in tonight's game..

Maybe but I really doubt it. Guys like that very, very rarely have major impacts on games these days. Yeah maybe he’ll throw a dirty hit, but that’s literally always a thing with him. Fighting in the modern NHL is absolutely not a deterrent for anyone, especially Lindgren

One of the top scoring teams in the league and Kinkaid is our last line of defense. Here's hoping we play perfectly on front of him, but I have my doubts. We've played an amazing 115 minutes going into tonight, we are due for a reality check. Thinking tonight might be a massacre....

He made the initial save each time, I'd like to see his D eliminate the possibility of the opponent getting to the rebound. They didn't, sad thing is it was Ovi just showing his dominance over the guy that hit him. Twice.

What I'm asking for is hard to do at this level against an Ovechkin, but you have to at least hinder him. Hell take a penalty out of desperation if you have to.

Lindgren's game doesn't change for anyone. Wilsons game will be the same as always, honestly he runs around like he's a heavy weight but id bet there are 3 guys on our team that would give him a go so i don't see him being any more of a factor than he usually is.
 
Kincaid is an AHL goalie, its just what he is, Georgiev should be starting but i also understand why they arent as last game he kinda lost the net a couple times. It's my one beef with Georgiev is that he moves out of the net too far at times and cant recover.

Angry Alex? Hahaha I'm going to assume you're serious because of your hot takes over the years. DeAngelo is a pile of trash human being. He deserves to be out of a job and Geo stood up for himself. Standing up for yourself is something you believe in unless it affects you negatively. Bozo mindset.
