The problem with that explanation is that Stutzle, Raymond, Jarvis and Lundell were in the same draft and are significantly better than Laf.

Every single one of these players were immediatey thrown into the waters with either one of or both significant ice time CONSISTENTLY, with good linemates, or on bottom feeders.
Sure, maybe it is best to immediately throw them to the wolves, but its not the position our org was in at time to allow them to work it through with high paid stars in contention window.

Seriously, we win but we didn't deserve to, we lose and the skys falling, we need another rebuild and everyone sucks. We're slow, even when we're controlling over 50% of chances game in game out with low SH% and SC% numbers tanking games.
Laf and Kakko suck, and when they score it can't be a positive thing its still "not Hughes" or "score again not just once".
Not even sure why half the people here are Rangers fans you're all so miserable.
