Apparently since it’s a rebuild we can’t notice any issues or problems with anything Kent Hughes has done (or not done), or MSL’s coaching, or how they’ve handled different players. It’s a rebuild, shut up and cheer or else you’re a bad fan!!

We all watch the games dude, Slafkovksy has been "good" for 3 weeks. Over those 3 weeks he has had bad games too, it hasn't all been good.

What are your expectations for him? I've made my peace with the fact that he will be one of the worst 1st overall picks of all time even if he hits his ceiling, but I still hope he hits his ceiling as a 30-40-70 guy.

Even with his good play, he's not showing elite skills or finishing ability. If he can't produce when he's playing his best, maybe I need a bigger reality check.

No matter who we picked in that draft would fall into that category, it is what it is. You're going to have to let that go, and appreciate what Slaf can be.

I don't see a force right now, he rarely uses his physicality. He is playing a much more cerebral game now which highlights his decent IQ and passing ability for a guy his size, but he is still too scared to really carry the puck or attack, like he is scared of making a mistake and getting sent back down to the 3rd line
