Matheson stinks but man Hutson is also struggling immensely defensively. Our best defensive dman might be Xhekaj since Guhle is invisible.

I'd prefer for kids like Beck to keep developing in Laval rather than come up to this tire fire.

Xhekaj has made a couple of very nice defensive plays tonight. He's been keeping his game simple for a while now and as looked pretty solid. Great to see.

Winnipeg's simply a far better team than us. Monty's keeping this closer than it should be.

On the plus side, we do have the second youngest team in the NHL. It's tough to watch but we need to stay grounded and be patient and hope to ice a team like the Jets in 3-4 years. It ain't going to happen overnight.
