Sad that Gallagher will go after Krug for a hit but no one goes after Emelin for hitting Pasta. Though I am sure Emelin would turtle it's still a message to send

Both hits looked clean to me. Tough luck for shaw on his positioning, but that's not Krug's fault at full speed.

Not Krug's fault Shaw stuck his head out there, it was shoulder to chest anyways.

The way Shaw was reaching, the hit was very similar to the Byfuglien hit last year that caught Mark Stone reaching out the same way. No suspension handed out on that hit, won't be any on the Shaw hit. At some point it's up to the player getting hit to keep his head up, and not lean forward and reach out like that unprotected.

Also similar to the Orpik hit on Ericsson.

Krug's follow through makes it look worse than it was but it was a legal hit IMO.

Emelin's hit is also clean and what you want a dman to do on an attempted zone entry.

Both hits clean, keep playing.
