To me, it's looked, all this season, so far, like Faulk has a bad back or some kind of injury that restricts his movement and puts him in pain so he can't make athletic moves (and therefore, is almost worthless at defending). Didn't he have a back injury during the last 3rd of last season that had him out a long time? And he played like this when he came back?
I forgot what injuries he's had, but I was thinking the same thing. Maybe it's his back or core. He seems stiff. Lower thoracic aspect of his spine, not lower lumbar or sacral?

Sure it may be physical issues with him, but I'd been frustrated at his poor decisions on the ice

So glad Panger is gone

Playing like a Zombie AND making poor decisions too, is an awful combination. It's ridiculous that The Blues don't have anyone to put on the ice to replace him who can't play better than he's doing right now.

Nice play by Faulk catching up with Taffoli, and keeping him from getting as shot off, after he got behind The Blues' defence!
And then he skated in a very stiff manner to the corner, which makes me think it's knee or hip.

Yeah, Jamie, MJ has size. Not a large size, but, yes, it's a size.
