One of the big reasons the Starts do so well is because the puck does not stay on their stick long enough for our forecheck to be effective. Our team needs to get rid of the puck of their sticks quicker if they want to really do much about this. 3 shots in a period aint gonna get it done.

The first goal was not really on him. But the biggest issue with him always has been the back breaking goals like he just gave up. The team needs a pick me up and he aint pickin up shit.

I'm not even sure what to say about it. In the replay of the first goal you actually watch Borgen engage Steel and then disengage with him seemingly intentionally? What is the defensive philosophy or scheme there? Why are they playing this loose in the defensive zone so far this season?

I must have missed the one "high danger chance", it was in the last 3 minutes of the period so presumably one of those "throw it at DeSmith and jam" sequences towards the end.
