GREETINGS EVERYONE, I HOPE YOUR TUESDAY WAS PLEASANT.

This one’s gonna be different. There’ll be really low amount of big letters.

Let’s not kid ourselves. Things look bleak. It seems as if we are outmanned and outgunned. Logic and rationale speak in Bruins favour.

But if Spartans at Thermopylae listened to logic, they would have never made their heroic stand that changed the course of history. Greeks would have never had the time to recover to win the battle of Salamina.

If Finns listened to common sense, they would have given up to Soviet onslaught in the very beginning and there would be no Talvisota to speak of.

If Texans left Alamo, there would be no equal story echoing to this day in American culture.

If Soviet soldiers stopped fighting even though they were in a really really deep sh^t and all hope seemed lost, we might have had a N@zi Germany in 21st century.

What am I trying to say is that sometimes all you have is hope and rage. Hope that things will get better and rage against everything and everyone in the whole wide world.

AND SOMETIMES THAT IS ALL YOU NEED. BRING THE VOLUME OF THE ENTIRE HOUSE ON BAMBOO EATERS. BRING THEM DOWN AND NEVER LET THEM GET UP.

Ok, listen up boys and girls. If we're honest with ourselves, we know we can't control a lot that goes on during the game, but we can control one thing.

We know how many New England transplants live here, we know how they turn out for Bruins games, and we know how loud they are when they get there.

For all the intensity that this building has brought in the first two rounds, we're going to have to work twice as hard tonight. Bring your voices, bring your horns, bring your loudest boots, bring anything that can help us shout them down and blow the roof off.

We know what this team can do when their backs are against the wall. Tonight is not the run-up to a coronation. Tonight is the night our boys hit back with everything they have. It is our duty and our privilege to help them on their way.

Don't let the Pandas think this is home away from home. Leave no doubt in their minds that this building feasts on their every misfortune, every hit, every penalty they take, every zone possession, every goal they allow, and every save McMrazek makes. This team has to earn every win, but our building is undefeated in the playoffs.

Let's go show them why.

This has to be very clear to the Jerks/Caniacs who are going tonight.

Home ice advantage is going to be big. It helps cover Rod's tactical deficiencies. The 5v5 line matching for Rod in game 1 and 2 was a jumbled mess:

Slavin VsTOI With%
Charlie Coyle10.529%
Danton Heinen10.228%
Sean Kuraly10.027%
Chris Wagner9.927%
Brad Marchand9.626%
Patrice Bergeron9.626%
Joakim Nordstrom9.225%
David Pastrnak8.623%
Jake DeBrusk8.623%
David Krejci8.623%
Marcus Johansson8.323%
David Backes6.919%
[TBODY] [/TBODY]
Slavin played almost even minutes against the entire Bruins roster. That is not ideal by any measure. The whole lineup looks like this and for me that goes a long way to answer why the Canes looked so disjointed for much of the game.

Carlo vsTOI WithTOI%
Sebastian Aho17.758%
Teuvo Teravainen17.457%
Andrei Svechnikov13.444%
Warren Foegele7.825%
Justin Williams6.722%
Nino Niederreiter6.220%
Jordan Staal5.518%
Lucas Wallmark4.214%
Micheal Ferland3.812%
Brock McGinn3.812%
Jordan Martinook2.69%
Greg McKegg2.68%
[TBODY] [/TBODY]
Compare this to Brandon Carlo (Bruins shutdown pair) to see where the Canes want to be.
