Oh for sure, and I do get why you think that way watching him play so far.

idk, to me he looks a lot like early Pacioretty. You can see skills, but it's too muddled in a bad situation and just general unreadiness to play his game at his level. Pacioretty took a while to figure out how to assert himself, but it needed to be done as a pro, watching him another year in the NCAA would have been pointless.

... But I still would rather selfishly see him than Gallagher going for another game with 0% passing rate.

I know this board loves to bash on Drouin, but I like the way he's been playing so far.

Seems much more present in this game.
