My god guys take a breath and calm down a bit. We're up 3-1 and have been the better team by a noticeable margin. So much panic in the thread for no reason.

With the leafs theres always a reason for panic. At no point have they earned any other type of reaction from the fanbase.

Good game by Leafs so far, hopefully they remain discipline, but refs will give Lightning powerplay(s) in third...still don't know what Kerfoot was doing at Tampa's blueline on that penalty kill just standing there with the puck at his feet before they scored - get the puck deep!

He's been perfect everywhere except the o-zone. There's literally no gray area. Zero offence generation but if you need the 3-1 preserved, he got you.

Leafs need far more from Marner, Matthews, Tavares and even Nylander. It's the same problems creeping up where they are getting shut down and caved in 5 on 5 and on the PP.

This is why this game has been so 50/50.

It’s almost like they’re playing against an elite team.
Nobody dominates a full 60. Breathe. You literally do this every game, I couldn’t imagine trying to watch with you in person.

Tampa is aggressively denying passes from the top of the umbrella to the wings whenever they're in their structure. Leafs need to search for tips, rebound opportunities, and operate with marner down by the goal line some to try and find different angles IMO. It's a concerted effort from Tampa to avoid any 1Ts from Matthews or Willy.

But I think leaf fans will be pleased........Tbay looks like shit.
They won their covid cups. They have a tough time with play off hockey after playing a full season. Apparently.
