I actually think he's been decent so far. Simple, but solid. Easy to say though when the team is catching some lucky breaks (shutouts, posts hit, + in general a lot of defensive puck luck so far). But he's been solid

His job is to hold down the fort while Harley goes full 200 ft rover. Dumba getting injured has thrown a wrench in that plan and over the long-term if Lyubushkin has to play with B. Smith that pair will probably get caved in

What are the initial thoughts on Lyubushkin?

I have no idea how to judge him or any of the roster changes. The start to this season feels like an extension of the preseason. These last couple of games weren't competitive, so it'd hard to know what to say about his play other than positive but positive with the game sliders turned down to rookie mode.

In preseason and the first 2.3 games, I thought Dumba was best of our acquired new 3 D, Lubs was second and Smith was third, whose major accomplishment was elevating Nils L to a regular every day third pair D man.
