Haha man this place is too depressing for this early in the season... we have played soooo much better this year, I get we need some goals but the talent is there for sure... I would say we have been outplayed two periods so far this year.. frustrating loss for sure but they happen. Rask, Willy, TT and others will get their goals. Defensively looking great... give the young kid a go next game and sit the other kid...

Our forwards arent that much worse than the Devils or Habs and they arent having issues scoring goals.

This game was lost on a borderline icing call followed by the goalie not catching a routine shot right after said icing call. Calm the shit down.

It's early, of course, but we knew that offense might still be an issue, and it is. No surprise there. If we were a decent team offensively, we would have gotten a point tonight.
This is an offensively talented Winnipeg team, and we held them to two goals. That's good. But if we can't get two goals a game, we're gonna need to make some changes -- and if that means selling some of our defensive talent, that's what it means.

The Canes have the 8th best high danger suppression, and 12th best high danger generation. It's mostly lack of finish. At least they have goaltending to show for the great defense this season haha.
