I thought we put Schultz on waivers and once he cleared he was put in Ontario?

Me too. Supposedly the Kings are carrying a 22-man roster and won't bring anyone up from the Reign for the time being.

Yeah, at yesterday's practice the pairs were: McNabb-Doughty, Muzzin-Ehrhoff, Martinez-Greene, with Forbort as the 7th.

I like these pairings. It has more balance with what is avalilable

Keeping a slot open for Dion Phaneuf (e45.3)

Kings have guys they could call up. They are worried that they will be taken when King comes off IR.
While it is nice to say the Kings farm is dead, Kings lost more players through waivers ( forced trades) than all other teams combined. They may not be the flashy, 1st line guys, but they are the 3/4 guys teams like to pick up on waivers

You guys should be able to win this. Just play hard. Unlike my ducks, Who seem to think they are in a all star game. Van does block alot of shots.

Never would have thought twice about it, but after hearing DocWest's story the first night, I found it amazing that I would suffer through the same experience the very next game.

And a Coyotes fan, of all people. Still, I'm proud of myself that I didn't tell her she wouldn't have a team to cheer in two years anyway, but I got close! :)
I've been thinking about our experiences and I believe it has to do with the fact that since the Kings missed the Playoffs last season and are having rough start to this one, our rivals finally have a chance to kick us when we're down. The Ducks fan reminded our entire section that we missed the Playoffs last season at least five times. He also said that he truly believed that the Ducks were going to win the Cup this year and historically are a far superior team (LOL). Then your Coyote lady **** on our recent struggles knowing you couldn't say much back in the moment. That's why she was ready with her dumb "scoreboard" comment. I guess it's just the price we pay for winning. All of the ugly and bitter rival fans finally get a chance to give us some ****. You know they were just waiting for the wheels to fall off and they are seizing the first opportunity they see to bring our fans down to their gutter.

Lots of time off since last game. I expect a big effort and, if leading after the first period, a big win. Too much pride to go 0-3 and I just don't think Vancouver's that good.

All I've taken from this thread is that it would behoove me to never thing about disagreeing.

As an unrelated aside I'll just say this: there is no team.I hate losing to more than the Canucks.

My TOP TEN Predictions for tonight:

10. Quick will make a Save of the Year Worthy Candidate
9. Lucic will fight Prust
8. Kopitar will NOT pass when he's in prime scoring location
7. Carter and Lucic will each score a goal
6. Quick will get a penalty
5. Quick will get an assist
4. The Kings will score atleast 2 goals in the 1st period
3. The Kings will score a Short handed goal
2. The Kings powerplay will go 0-4 2 shots
1. The KINGS will get their first victory of the season, 5-1

GO KINGS GO

I am holding you to this!

Sincerely,
